Ideal Concepts, Inc. has earned a spot on the prestigious Inc. 5000 list for the third straight year! Coming in at #672, Ideal Concepts was only a few spots away from reaching the coveted Top 500. American Insurance Organization (AIO) also made the list for the fourth year in a row at #2899. The Inc. 5000, put out by Inc. Magazine, annually ranks the country’s top 5000 fastest-growing private companies, according to percentage revenue growth over a three-year period.
Ideal Concepts managed a 651% jump in revenue from 2015 to 2018, and AIO achieved 129% revenue growth in the same time frame. This is a stunning accomplishment, as Inc. Magazine Editor in Chief James Ledbetter said: “During a stretch when the economy grew just 12 percent, that’s a result most businesses could only dream of."
Ideal Concepts and AIO are included in the wide-ranging “Insurance” category, which covers a variety of business concentrations—including all aspects and lines of insurance like financiers, adjusters, warrantors, and property & casualty lines of insurance marketers, among a plethora of other focuses. In the broad “Insurance” category, Ideal Concepts ranked #8 in the nation for growth!
Ideal Concepts President and founder, John Pequeno, said, “We are so excited to revisit the top of the Inc. 5000 list for the third year in a row! I’m proud of my team and our work over the past three years. Not only have we increased our revenue by $14.1 million, but we’ve also grown our team by more than 300%! This is truly a demonstration of how with some grit and determination, a small company can rapidly grow into a medium size company by both revenue and staff size.”
Ideal Concepts’ Head of Business Development, Alisha Leavelle, said: “I think this is a great testament to our employees’ drive and dedication, that despite the ever-changing political climate of health insurance sales, we’ve managed to continue to grow at such an astonishing pace year over year. It’s easy to have that kind of growth once—but to continue to sustain that growth is especially rewarding for the whole company.”
Locally, Ideal Concepts is #2 of all Allentown-Easton-Bethlehem & NJ metro area companies, and #17 in the state by revenue percentage growth. By 2018 total revenue, AIO ranks #2 with $29.5m. Check out Ideal Concepts’ Inc. 5000 profile here, and AIO’s profile here.
